Perry Web Creations is committed to making perrywebcreations.com accessible to as many people as possible. I build websites for a living, and making them usable for everyone is part of doing the job right, on my site and on the sites I build for clients.
01My Goal
This website aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content easier to use for people with disabilities, and following them makes a site better for everyone.
02What I’ve Done
To make this site easier to use, I’ve worked to:
- Readable contrastText and buttons have enough contrast against their backgrounds.
- Clear structureHeadings are in a logical order so screen readers can jump between sections.
- Keyboard friendlyEvery link, button and form works with the keyboard, with a visible focus outline.
- Image descriptionsMeaningful images have alt text. Decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Labeled formsEvery form field has a label, and errors explain what to fix.
- Reduced motionAnimations pause or stop if your device is set to reduce motion.
- Descriptive linksLinks and buttons say where they go, not just “click here.”
- Zoom and mobilePages work on phones and when zoomed up to 200%.
03Known Limitations
I work to make every part of this site accessible, but a few areas rely on content I don’t fully control:
- Google reviews. The reviews on the Testimonials page are shown with a third-party widget. You can also read them directly on my Google Business Profile.
- Client websites. Portfolio links go to websites owned by my clients, which may not meet the same standards.
- Older content. Some older blog posts or images may not yet be fully updated. I review and fix these over time.
04How I Test
I check this site regularly using a mix of automated tools and hands-on testing, including:
- Navigating every page with only a keyboard
- Automated checkers such as WAVE and Google Lighthouse
- Color contrast checks on text, buttons and links
- Testing on phones and tablets, and with the browser zoomed to 200%
- Spot checks with a screen reader, such as VoiceOver
05Feedback and Contact

Tell me the page and what happened, and I’ll respond as soon as possible, usually within a few business days. If something isn’t accessible yet, I’ll get you the information another way, by phone or email.
